I've never really considered Miami to be a science hub compared to places like Boston, but I wanted to ask here - are there any biotech or research companies in/around the Miami area for entry and mid-level positions?

Relocating to Boston from the MD for work. Will be moving with my wife and 2year old. Which neighborhoods should I consider if I was trying to go for 2bd/2ba /affordable ($2200), safe, not more than an hour commute to Boston. Looked at Worcester but will take me more than an hour to get to Boston. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I am generally a motivated, high performing person, but I al starting to slip up and care less, b/c my work is not satisfying to me. I know I just sound like a complainer, but does anyone have any advice?

I have tried absolutely everything I can think of to limit distractions during the work day and none of it has worked. Working from home has only made it 100 times worse because now I know there are other more interesting things to be distracted by all around me. What do you do to hold focus during working hours? What will get me to be able to work for longer than 35 minutes without getting distracted?
