Midtown Miami, it’s like a mini Brickell but more walkable, less chaotic and has a target, Trader Joe’s and pets Mart. Plus over 30 restaurants
I used to live in Midtwon Miami and I loved it. I was in my late twenties and single then.
Downtown coral gables is good if you aren't someone who likes to go out to clubs a lot. Plenty of restaurants and bars for happy hour, but not really a late night scene here. Residential but very walkable. Publix is in the same area and a new Trader Joe's a few min away. Lots of good restaurants.
I’m in my mid 20s and live in Brickell and love it. it’s not cheap, but nothing in Miami is these days, plus the quality of life & convenience is exactly what I want. very walkable, agree w the above about midtown but if you like to go out for drinks, the options are much more limited and it’s harder to get to other areas. I do think midtown and edgewater are better than brickell if you have a dog though
They’re plenty of drink options in midtown and we are getting more because the Standard is coming with a second rooftop bar to the area.
Edgewater or Midtown
Bowl Leader
Definitely Brickell or Coral Gables
If you are new to Miami you will realize in a year or so from now that Brickell is not all that. You will then look to move to either Midtown, Edgewater, Grove or Coral Gables
following :)
I’m moving from NYC to MIA early next year and am trying to decide between midtown and brickell too!
Midtowner as well. I to me is the best non-beach area of Miami for anyone in theirs 20-40s
Hmm, is midtown still super walkable for things even without a car? I was leaning towards brickell only I thought it would be more walkable (I go to MIA about a week every month)
Midtown is super walkable and has everything from a target, Trader Joe’s and roof top bar within six blocks. Find out more in this bowl
