💯 I once had a very dominate, type A, intense Manager with strong opinions. In a team of 4, we were very quiet during calls and contributing ideas felt risky in the event it didn’t align with said Manager’s opinions.
I’m type B and easy going, so it didn’t bother me for a long time until I realized the impact it had on my professional development.

I feel the exact same! It's really interesting how it actually starts to impact your career growth too.

So true. A manager’s tone really does become the emotional thermostat for the team. When leadership energy is steady and open, people take more risks. When it’s tense or reactive, everyone adjusts accordingly.

It's crazy isn't it? It really makes a difference

Yes, this has happened to us as well

Would love to hear more about that?
You are absolutely right. I had a manager at my last company who was AWFUL. She was always grouchy and in a bad mood, and it rubbed off on every single one of us. I had to get out of there and find a new job.
💯, it makes or breaks my respect for and my working relationship with my them.
