Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

Verbal offers mean nothing!!
If 70k is definitely too low for you, look for something else
There is a high chance you will not get this pay bump in the first year.
That's way too low! I don't care how exciting the opportunity is, don't devalue your worth! And the fact that they're not willing to put their promise in writing is a big red flag. I'd pass. You'll find something better that will pay you what you're worth.
Thanks so much for replying. Are you all UK based too and not just surprised because of the pay difference between UK/US?
I agree! The pay is very low! But also the question is how long do you look for a job? Because if this is the only offer at the moment, I might take it and keep looking for other opportunities. I agree the market is in terrible shape, and many companies have paused their hiring process. But I am sure you will feel calmer to keep looking if you will have a job. So I would accept the offer but keep actively looking for the next one. But if you are not financially stressed so I would pass as the salary is very low.
Always put everything in writing. I always see it as a red flag if they don't want it to be included in the contract.
