I’ve spent a decade in Chicago and most my friends either left to move to their hometowns or started having families and moved to the suburbs and I never see them. I’m thinking about moving to a smaller market but in a city that’s growing. I like Tampa and Austin, I’ve been to Nashville too. Where should I be looking? Anyone else make a move like this recently?

Just got off of a meeting with J P Chase investment advisor who is essentially going to invest my money into a bunch of their own ETFs, S&P500 and some fixed assets. Wondering if it’s paying them 1.5% fees to do it or should I invest time and do it myself.

One of the team member has applied leaves for continuous 3 days this month. Later she applied for a 15 days leave saying a medical emergency. Both the leaves were rejected from her manager saying connect with HR. though she is on leave without PM leave approval and this is not even prior notice to the team.

Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified.
