Other than LinkedIn, what are the best job boards? Indeed sort of sucks IMO, but want to make sure I am seeing most/all of the opportunities in my area.

A while ago I asked for an advice to improve my executive presence as I got a feedback after an interview that I was a bit too talkative and it hurt my executive presence.
First, I want to thank someone who recommended me training from Own the Room. Amazing training, amazing content.
And after having 4 interviews with the company I realized that they were just sexist AF. So, executive presence is important, but if you know that you’re not chatty, don’t doubt your greatness!

My BFF is turning 40 and of course we are not getting together.Was thinking of dropping a bottle of champagne to her door & doing virtual toast together.Doesn’t feel like enough. Any ideas?

On the road every week- feeling burnt out, depressed, seems like nobody cares

Seeking advice: Looking at long term Career salary trajectory between the big 4 vs big tech. Currently a director /sr manager at a big 4 and have an offer from a big tech firm paying 30% more. Long term, i can make partner at my firm in a few years if I stay, which has its benefits. If i go to big tech, im assuming i will be able to make partner salary even sooner. $ aside, not sure about the wlb at big tech. looking for advice from everyone else if i should stay at my firm or take this offer?

Has anyone seen or tried those anti-wrinkle straws? They kind of look like a hook but I was wondering if they actually helped or if they were simply gimmicked?

Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical

Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

What’s the interview process like for Global Asset Capital?

I’m trying to transfer departments at my company and I talked to the MD of the department i wanna transfer to, and told him working remotely is a requirement to me, and he said he’s not sure if that’s possible, and that would depend on HR and the hiring manager. He still forwarded my resume to HR and I got an interview. How should I negotiate to make the role fully remote?

Any suggestions or directions for leaving financial advisor/planner position? How could these skills translate to something else? I feel likes it’s narrowed my options significantly going in this direction.
