Joined IDFC First Bank a few months back, the culture is extremely toxic, you'll be forced to do unpaid overtime, and you'll have to self learn and train yourself. You'd have to be extremely lucky to have one of your overworked colleagues be friendly and also knows how to actually give training and isn't toxic.

2/10, would never recommend, this is just another typical toxic bank that is 80 years behind top global banks.

How can anyone act like they’re happy working Saturday’s during busy season? My buds are snowboarding, my girlfriend is complaining that I work too much and I’m missing the playoffs. Times like these make me question why I stay.

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer. For context I am considered a high performer, am near the top of the salary band at my level and have a great supporting network at Deloitte. It’s just not worth it to have zero personal life.

I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis.
