Never blame leaving a company on someone else. “I had reached the point where I couldn’t grow anymore, and felt like I’d learned all I could, but couldn’t get promoted” or “I found myself needing work I was more passionate about”. But NEVER, even if it’s true, sound whiny or sore about others Also, that’s not THAT short. Breaking a year doesn’t scream “red flag”. Just go with it

Remember also, that this is a two-way interview. Come ready with questions that matter to you about culture, whatever that may be. Questions like “How many people have held this position in the last 3 years?” And “what would you say the biggest challenge facing people with this job is?” will often give big hints for you
