How long does it take for mckinsey to respond after submitting my app? It’s been almost a month and I’ve not heard anything. Shld I assume I’ve been rejected? Or do they review lateral hires in cycles?

I applied to a specialized practice at McKinsey. If they were not able to find many applicants with experience within this field, will the pass rate be higher? And the case be “easier”? Have my first and final round the same day, and will know in the evening if I have the job.

My school career center confirmed MBB will be recruiting MBAs this year. Is this legit or are you MBBers being told something else?
