It’s hard… I would just say do something you like after work. Maybe go out for a walk.
Nah, we are all under stress from time to time. If we can’t manage it without damaging our relationships, that’s on us. If the person apologizes for how they behaved, either in word or in deed (by asking you to lunch or whatever - some decent people in the world just aren’t strong enough to say they are sorry), they can be forgiven. Otherwise, you have to move on before you turn into him/her. Never take anything personally. It’s all about them.
