Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

As a CSM I still use chatGPT and CoPilot in a very old school (funny to think) way like "re write this email" etc because I find I waste a lot of time giving these agents the right prompts I might as well have done things (ie made a slide) how I wanted them in the first place.
Haha, no problem, that's exactly right. AI needs to be trained. Right now, they're promoting AI agents, which look pretty good. I'll try them out sometime.
Wow if slidepanda is making their slides better I shudder to think how awful they must have been to start with - it produces hideous output
Tools like Claude can jump you ahead for some time heavy tasks but they still need a pretty detailed eye to edit/review their output and *prove out* any numbers they supply.
We use it to do the initial analysis heavy of a task or the very rote parts of building out a document and it saves hours of effort.
They key is providing a very well constructed prompt and key example or reporting for it to generate from
