Just signed up for Becker! I'm in my 1 year masters program right now but have a light load due to taking classes early. Taking a class right now that significantly helps people pass AUD.

Which order should I take my exams?? easier -> harder or harder -> easier

Since you're taking the class, knock out audit. 2 birds 1 stone. The next one try to match your classes to the exam.
My reccomendation is far, but if you are taking tax classes, reg and then the tax discipline would probably be ideal.

FART method worked for me. FAR, AUD, REG, TCP. There’s a bit of far in aud, so knocking out far out early can help a lot

Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. I was using a new computer and long story short, had some technical difficulties (or maybe just my own incompetence under stress) and ended up only getting through half of the test. I’m on the fence about emailing my recruiter and explaining the circumstances/asking for a retest. Don’t want to come off like I’m complaining but also don’t want this to be the reason I don’t move forward. Any advice appreciated…

New York folks:
Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
