For the one year of work experience requirement to get CPA license in CO, when did you qualify? Do they just do 1 year from DOH or do you need to have charged 1,800 hours of client work?

I dont think any state does charge hours. 99% sure it is from date of hire.

Not sure about CO but usually it is one year in time, not charged hours.

Advice needed! I started at an ID firm only a few months ago after a long stint doing in-house litigation. I was referred to the firm by a very good friend who also still works there. A management position at my old in-house firm has now been offered to me. Higher salary obviously and no billables. I am seriously dreading talking to my new boss and telling my friend that I want to go back in-house. Has anyone dealt with something similar? I just feel so bad and don’t want to burn bridges

Hi folks ! I’m also at the final round interviews for a product role at a startup, and I’m now having an existential crisis. I know McKinsey is not the best place to grow as a PM (despite its numerous other career benefits), but I’m having trouble figuring out what I want. I’m a healthcare based PM here , and this role is at a health tech startup. I may potentially get a bump in salary, but not sure at this moment

I am a CPA based out of Canada. I have 7 years of corporate finance and FP&A work under my belt. My fiancé will be starting dental school in NZ by Feb’23. Are there any recruitment firms that specialize in working with expat talent? What was the biggest culture shock moving to Australia?
