That's awesome and so nice of them! It must have felt so validating for you as a chef. I love customers like that. I had one that stands out. An older woman who thanked me after helping her with a return issue. It was a small, simple thing, but I'd been having a terrible day and been dealing with awful customers nonstop, so her kindness really stuck out.
That was so lovely of them. And now I really want to try your pizza lol. It's not as thoughtful as your story, but I once had a regular customer bring me in some flowers because she saw how overwhelmed we had been the day before and she felt bad for me. Thought I could use some cheering up, and she was right.

It's nice when stuff like that happens makes you feel actually appreciated for what you do knowing you've made atleast a slight difference to someone's life.

Yes, the same happened to me. A customer came two days in a row and on their final visit, they bought me flowers and gave to me. I was really touched that I made that much of an impact on their experience 😊

That’s awesome! Moments like that make all the long hours in the kitchen totally worth it. Feeling appreciated, even in small ways, really sticks with you. I’ve had a few customers go out of their way just to say thanks—it’s the best feeling.
