Last week, I discovered that all the other vets in my current Farm only practice had gotten cost-of-living wage increases. I can't help but feel a bit pissed that I'm the only one excluded. Am I wrong to feel undervalued? It's not even about the money. It just feels like a slap in the face not to be deemed worthy of a cost of living pay rise. And no, it was not a merit-based increase. Literally, every single other vet was emailed and told they were getting an automatic pay rise. I recently turned a job down because I enjoy mixed work, so this hurts.
