Longines conquest or Omega Seamaster AT?

I prefer the Aqua Terra. The hands and indices on the Conquest are a bit too thin & dressy for a sportswatch. I also really like the twisted lugs on the Aqua Terra

Another alternative with the same vibe that's about $1k would be the Christopher Ward C63 Sealander

I don't think the Conquest overall is too dressy, I think that the hands and dial indices are too dressy compared to the design features on the rest of the watch -- like how Oxfords with sneaker soles are bad at being dress shoes and bad at being sneakers. It's a really minor personal aesthetic preference though so if you think it looks good don't worry about it

In terms of being appropriate for most occasions, you can't do better than a 3-hand sportswatch on a bracelet with a black, blue, or white dial so I think both options you suggested as well as the C63 would suit your needs great. Any of them would look just fine with either a t shirt and shorts or a dress shirt and slacks

I prefer the AT. Huge price difference though.

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). Can anyone recommend books they’ve found helpful for L&E matters, privacy matters, product matters, or marketing/advertising matters?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I thought the power reserve on DJ41 Ref126333 was about 70hours, but I noticed it’s about 40-48 hours on mine. Wear mine about every other day, but not on weekends and then Monday morning when I go to wear it, it’s dead and have to wind it. Anyone else seeing this?

Very nice release by Baltic imo.
Microrotor, 36mm and 9.9mm thickness. Only negative I see is the accuracy, which is 20+/- but at 650€, I’m very tempted.
Comes in silver, salmon and blue.

Thinking about a cheaper watch for vacations, working outside, general beater. I only have nice dress watches so I don't ever wear them to the pool/beach/etc.

Probably automatic, less than 1k, reasonably waterproof. Currently looking at Seiko divers but curious what people's favorites are.
