Looking for some perspective from others who’ve been in sales or KPI-driven environments.

I’m currently in a phone-based sales role where performance is measured on “leads to sales,” but leads include unanswered calls, voicemails, hang-ups and closed leads — not just actual conversations or pitches. This makes conversion metrics feel misleading and hard to control.
