Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

First, congratulations!
To answer your question, I actually choose my jewelry, including engagement ring and wedding ring, based on whether I feel safe wearing them in public wherever I am. Sometimes I travel places where I don't think it's a good idea to wear anything that could make me a target for theft or robbery or worse; other times I'm going somewhere I feel totally safe and will wear whatever I want. I haven't come across situations where I have factored in whether my jewelry would be flashy for the workplace based on what I do. However, if you work in a sensitive area, like you do strategy that could result in layoffs for your client or you specifically work with clients in financial distress, I probably wouldn't wear flashy jewelry.
Thanks! I feel safe wearing it in 1st world countries and have a modest travel band for everywhere else. Maybe I’ll get a work ring 🤔
Honestly I’d just wear your ring and enjoy it!These days everyone has a 4 carat plus because of lab grown diamonds becoming so popular.
That’s true and a good point.
Unless you work somewhere that it’s not safe to wear it, you should wear the ring!
I’ve gained weight and my wedding and engagement ring don’t fit right now so I just wear a different ring. It gets the point across
Depending on its value, you might consider getting a zirc or moissanite dupe for your daily driver.
My toxic trait is I can’t imagine giving a fuck what anyone else thinks
Girl, wear those rings! I rarely take mine off... unless you work in a place that flashy is offensive, the whole point of engagement is to show it off and gush when asked about the proposal. Truthfully, if I could have extended our engagement period even longer I would have, for so many reasons I enjoyed that feeling even more than being married. Although that's great too (lol). I'm in my early 30s, currently in an HR/Csuite role but previously was an area manager and in/out of industrial sites all day- didn't change my rings then either! Congrats!
Wear what you like, I personally wear my real ring at work more than home, and wear silicon bands around a lot for casual wear and workouts.
When I was engaged I wore that ring all the time except at the gym.
You should insure your ring if you haven’t, if you lose it or if it’s stolen than you can get a replacement.
Thanks! I tried to tell my fiancé to insure it, but he shrugged and said he would just buy another if I lost it 🫠
