If you enjoy getting let go in about 6 months, go for it.
no.
They are total slaves to their holding company and the way that acquisitions/mergers/whatever you want to call it have happened over the last five years means that they are very top-heavy and don’t care about their people who do the actual work. You will work on many small unimportant projects, have a ton of meetings (and no time to actually get your work done) and maybe produce a couple scrappy projects. It feels like you have to work overtime to get your work done but also that no one else is working hard. Clients don’t care about the work that much, account people only care about doing what clients want, CDs care about not butting heads with account. The leadership is focused on people being “nice” and compliant with the way things are run. If you say you’re dissatisfied with anything, you will be let go or laid off within like 6 months.
Think they were probably better when they were independent, their holding company is horrible. As CW 1 said they’re constantly merging their agencies, laying people off and don’t care about anyone who isn’t a chair or president or ceo of one of their agencies.
They merged with Eleven SF a few years ago and it was a shame as Eleven was a cool smaller shop with really great people. They took their clients and let go of the people.
C1 what a failure
Rarely hear about them. They seem mid in every city tbh
We've had a handful of layoffs lately, so the foundation is a little shaky. But! The people are fantastic.
the people who are left are fantastic?
…? 😳
