Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, we’re in a similar and complicated situation ourselves. Either way it’s only hurting the company in the long run. Hopefully someone has some advice for us!
OMG I felt like I was reading a post i wrote about a year ago. My advice, start looking. These kinds of people leaders do not change they only get worse! In my situation, mine was a micromanager who wanted people to perceive her as a transformational leader (which she wasn’t), so rather than giving directions she would say just do it how you think, then you return the finished product and it’s not right but no instructions on what she was looking for. It was such a mess, she basically wanted psychics as direct reports.
Since last year, I’ve found a new role, at a new company. I didn’t receive a huge bump in pay making this change, but its still been so worth it. My new leader is actually a transformational leader and i couldn’t be happier. My new leader also just informed me that she’s giving me a significant raise and changing my title in the fall. They’ve also agreed to pay for me to get certified as PMP and Change practitioner which should help me to eventually break out of the admin field and into the PMO to ideally have a career path long term since that doesn’t really exist for this function any longer unfortunately…
