Look at it this way, you're not working 40 hours a week. You're working almost 53 hours a week (and getting paid for 40). That means about a quarter of your work week is sitting in a car, unpaid.
The most I have ever done is 30 minutes, each way (not counting the occasional traffic jab) and that made me miserable. (And I LIKE to drive) I have done up to 90 mins each way, but for a short time (less than two weeks, usually)
I like it when I have a 5 minutes or less commute (almost walking distance), I couldn't imagine doing a long commute long term.
And that's not even counting the cost of what you are spending on fuel and car costs. You basically have to figure that it costs 70 cents a mile to run a car, so if you're driving 100 miles a day, that is $70 your paying just to get to work.

Honestly, you're so right. This commute is basically a whole extra workday every week, and it’s draining. Between the time, the gas, and the wear on the car, it really adds up. I can’t wait for the day I’m back to a short, stress-free drive.
I’ve known people who did similar commutes their whole working lives. It’s only worth it to me as a short-term thing. Just until I can get closer, because gas, time, wear and tear, all add up.

Exactly, I feel the same.
I commute 2 days in 2 days out. 2 days I will be working then the rest I won’t be working that’s how my schedule is

Ah, I get that..

If it is paying you really good, then I guess it is worth doing it and if you are earning the same as other people who work from home, then I would say it is the one for you.
