You’ll have to ask yourself if it makes sense for your goals. Certifications aren’t a replacement for experience, but they can help you get in the door if you are looking at something that requires/benefits from them.

I don't know that I would recommend doing that unless you have a specific reason for doing so. It would likely be a waste of money if you don't need it for your current role.

Yeah, I think it can be worth it, even if your manager doesn’t care right now. Certifications like AWS aren’t always useful for your current job, but they’re more like an investment for future opportunities.
For example, if you ever want to switch companies, move into cloud roles, or work on more modern systems, having an AWS cert can make your profile stronger and help you stand out.
