If you are in an entry-level Position (I'm assuming you are based on Engineer I), a good supervisor understands you are learning on pretty much every task you do. They aren't asking you to get things done perfectly in record time, they want you to learn how to perform different tasks. If you are stuck, ask questions. Eventually you will be proficient in those tasks and your boss can rely on you to perform those while they deal with other things - it's part of how an organization grows.
You're not going to know how to do everything immediately, don't beat yourself up about it. This isn't a 12 week semester, it's a decades-long career; you will constantly encounter new things that you aren't good at and need to learn/practice.
Agree, you have to ask questions to learn. Don’t wait until the deadline to ask questions.
