Would need a bit more info:
1. A destination with hotel rooms needed or sessions at a lical hotel or conference center
2. # of participants
3. All employees or senior leadership
4. Budget, which needs to include catering, tech needs, etc.
5. # of days
5.1 Goals & desired outcomes and/or overarching theme
6. Any guest speakers or entertainment
7. Full participant sessions and/or breakout groups
8. Retreat and/or welcome gifts
I'm sure I've missed some things, but these are some of the main things that help shape a retreat. IMHO, you need a balance of business and fun/interesting things to do. It's also important to make sure there are meaningful sessions that include everyone in attendance.
Good luck.
About 13-14 employees, virtual retreat as company is remote. Spanning three days, no breakout sessions. No welcome gifts or anything either. There hasn’t been any overarching goals or theme given to me regarding the retreat honestly … was told we are having a retreat and reference the previous one. The previous one had a strategy day, dinner and team bonding game. And a run through of implementation pipeline, that was it.
I did just 2 weeks ago? Where are you based?
Remote company so the retreat is virtual as well
You left out "virtual" from your original post. My thoughts were all in-person based, but some of the details will be relevant.
I realized that now! I don’t see an option to edit the post.
