I don’t see any issue with LL6’s behavior. Maybe you’re missing details of the behavior. But I think you are looking for a promotion. You can apply for internal jobs for transfer.
LL6 doesn’t mean having “power”. He’s a leader of your team. I think controlling your team is his job description. I believe you’re not comfortable with that, maybe because you’ve worked longer in the area or maybe his skills are not be the right match for the project. You should understand he’s trying to do his job.
There could be many reasons to explain lack of recognition. You could move if you’re unable to workout with your current leader. I see no reason to make his life harder
You need to learn what empathy is. This is pathetic response to the concerns of OP.

You might need to reach out to HR in that case... though I'm not sure how supportive they typically are when it comes to concerns about LLs. Curious to hear others' thoughts as well
I saw this in some of the core teams, and which dept you are from , what's the yoe and ctc
