Almost midnight here and I'm cleaning my medicine cabinet so I can reboot having a regular skin-care routine. I dated someone 15 years older than me and he always lectured me about what did I do wrong. From small things like where to squeeze ketchup on my plate to big things like how to live my life and pivot to a career that his “friends” do so well in right now. Almost everything I did or said he’d follow with some criticism. I ghosted him after another lunch date full of such lectures.

My brother-in-law (age 30) told us recently that he is transgender. How can we support him? (‘Him’ as we haven’t discussed pronouns yet). It was a surprise to us!

I am in a long distance relationship with someone who is currently in B school. He spends pretty much all his breaks and holidays traveling with his classmates. Most of the time I am fine. But for some important holidays and my birthday, I told him we should spend time together. He just said it’s more important for him to bond with his classmates and ignore my ask. It’s really disappointing and I don’t know what else to tell him. Is that a reasonable ask or am I being dramatic?
