My son (young adult) moved in with me. He left his retail job in November due to no upward movement in role or pay. It has been two months now and he can’t even land a fast food job in the area. Because he went into US Army reserve training after high school he doesn’t have a lot of experience. Besides this, he is not bilingual and he has his regular reserve duty commitment of one weekend per month that he is being passed on with jobs. How does one survive the local job market?

Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
