Cogno AI Hey fishes, One of my friends, got offer in cognizant. She have an epfo account with inactive UAN and she changed her name in aadhar recently and this epfo account has the past name. So she raised request for name change 2 months ago and still it's processing. And now cognizant asking the acknowledgement of changed name which the previous company cannot provide for obvious reasons. Will it affect the doj? Or anyone had this kind of problem before? I had 340 OTE at a startup
Nope, I don’t know any software company that pays that much. 230k is the average OTE for enterprise AE positions. 300k OTE was the max I ever heard of.
Don't listen to Team Lead, he is wayyy off on actual market rate for top reps.
340 OTE at a startup grinding you d*** off
But your stock could be worth a TON if the company succeeds

270k OTE at an established company in mid-enterprise (more accounts/more chances?) and more work life balance?
I lean option 2 but interested in your thoughts.
Sure- I’m 33 with 11 years of experience mostly spent at Accenture. Did fairly well there and have healthy savings and a wife with a good job so I viewed the start-up as a high ceiling, relatively low risk opportunity. In general, I think start ups are the clearest path to next level wealth without an advanced degree or specialization. Still obviously takes a healthy dose of luck.
My Cash OTE is $332k / year and I have ~$50k in equity vesting each year as well.
Software Sales - FAANG
Edit: with current market conditions, vesting equity is closer to $35k/year right now.
