My strategy brief won a Cannes Lion. My salary didn't move.
The creative team got bonuses. Account got client credit.
Strategy is the most leveraged role in the agency — you shape the brief, the positioning, the entire direction of the work. But when it comes to comp conversations, suddenly no one can quantify.
I was making $95k while the CD presenting my thinking was clearing $155k.

Strategy is absolutely a part of what makes it all possible, but not as easily seen in the final product. Be in the rooms when the work is being presented and talk about your work in terms of how it leads to impact. The person reviewing should already know what you’ve done.

I have an interview coming up for a Case Manager position for the in-home care company. I would have 16 patients in my caseload 9 locally & 6 out of town. The company said the case managers are the backbone to their organization. Is the workload much greater than the in home nurse? Would a Case Managers make more an hour bc of their leadership decisions & caseload they are responsible for? In Indeed the ranges for salary varied. What would you negotiate for in NW Ohio area?

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.
