My wife is on H4 and our visa renewals are due before Aug,2021. Once our H1-H4 extensions are approved, we are planning to travel to home country. Also, i am planning to covert my wife’s visa to F1 (not by change of status but vising the home country) as she is already pursuing her MS. What would be a good suggestion? Should we get first H4 extension stamp and get her F1 visa later (within same trip)? Can we book 2 visa appointments (1 for H4 and 2nd for F1)

I have an offer from IBM, which I need to join from 30th June at Bangalore. Currently am at my hometown.
I asked the HR if there is any travel reimbursement and initial accommodation provided by them. The HR denied any such facility provided by IBM. And asked me to ask my manager once I have joined the company.
Any suggestions, as I have to travel only for the joining and traveling would be quite heavy on my pocket.

I work in food production. I work closely w/ accounts who order products 4 foodservice & grocery stores. I feel that customer service is not an appropriate job title for what we do. we communicate w/ our customers/accounts but we are more like account managers. We also deal with transportation issues. They won’t change our pay because we are CSR’s & we are compensated as such accord to industry standards. What is an another job title we could request that would compensate us 4 what we do??

Have you seen examples of those with L1-B visa changing the employers? I know that L1 visa broadly ties you to your sponsor employer, so in case you are laid off / want to switch jobs; pretty much you are asked to leave the states; so was wondering if there are workarounds to that end.
