If you're looking for business/bus casual attire Anne Taylor has a nice selection of slacks, button down tops, and blazers. I've always found professional attire there.
Love Ann Taylor but it can look a little grandma. Lol. I love Calvin Klein dresses and clothes for work.
I agree with the above . Express has nice work pants I also love .
Banana Republic has nice clothes and Ann Taylor is great too!
Its Zara for me + & Other Stories for most of my closet. I like a little hint of funk and color so Zara has some well priced colorful blazers, skirts and pants. & Other Stories — I’m wearing a this dress today:

With a long black blazer from Vetta:

Vetta recently shut down but I love their stuff because each item can be worn 2-3 different ways. My long blazer is also a dress and the sleeves also come off. Genius! I’m picking up more from them on the aftermarket.
https://www.uniqlo.com for basics and Friday casual looks.
Depends on your budget.
I have found Express the most flattering suit’s especially if you have curves. I usually look at outlets for deals.
I also did a Shein haul recently (not proud but no regrets)for some basics.
Spent about $150 on 6 satin like tops, 2 knit dresses, and 4 dressy flats that I can pair with the nicer suits.
I am petite and my work collection is 90% Cos, the compliments never stops from co workers.
MPM - Cos is part of the HM brand family, but a higher quality brand like say Gap > Banana.
MC1- yes some bottoms are too long (I'm 5'1) and I get them tailored. But fit wise it's great otherwise.
Loft I used to work at Ann Inc corporate.
Loft Is more your age group. I also like rent the runway. They have categories based on age group,
Also ZARA.
So I found some great sales on Calvin kelvin and got some items (tbd on how they fit). I went to Ann Taylor but it was a fail since they didn’t have any 00P there and was just not fitting me right. Loft had 1 pair of pants I liked and a few tops. Then I went crazy at express hahah. I bought so many things but had to buy most online since they didn’t keep many of their short pants options there. LOVED the high waisted wide/flare pants, but they also had some great tops, cardigans and dresses that fit well.
I struggle because I’m curvy and plus size but on the lower end of what’s considered plus size and I can’t find anything that looks good. Either the tops are all like baby doll tops, which technically ends up making me look heavier. The pants don’t fit because they’re meant for straight/thin woman. Stores, especially like Xpress and loft do not work for me. Suggestions appreciated.
I'm petite and swear by Cos; the compliments never stop. They have such clean & minimalistic aesthetics, also price wise reasonable (on par w jcrew / banana). It's true some trousers are long and I just get the length tailored, fit wise it's great.
Loft is my got to, they usually have a petite section
Zara, White House Black Market (esp if you're petite), Theory Outlets
Express, H & M, Dillards outlet, even Amazon with some time and effort to the search!
