Need advice from people who’ve handled counter offers recently.

Have an offer from another big consulting firm with ~20%+ hike on fixed pay. Current company wants to retain me, but most of the increase is via retention bonus instead of fixed hike. I’ll also lose an upcoming year-end/performance bonus if I resign now.

Management says my current compensation is already high for my level.

What would you prioritize here: New company with better fixed pay or staying for YER bonus + retention pay ?

Feeling really torn between fed loans and private loans for my MBA. Rates are better (and no origination fee) with private and very likely won’t take advantage of the protections offered with fed loans— but after seeing how uncertain the world can be with COVID/financial crisis, it does make me take pause. Should I just do federal and then refinance after working for a bit post-grad when I’m feeling more stable/secure in my finances/career?

Do customer success roles get h1B sponsorship? Is that a rome aligned to strategy? Or operations?

I'm exploring roles in WELLS FARGO/JP as I am looking into profiles in investment banking. Have done masters in banking & finance, & have retail banking experience of 4.5 years. Overall 8+ YOE from scrap.
