By "big campaign work", I'm assuming you mean more conceptual work?
If that's the case, the bad news is that there really isn't anything in your book that shows you can do it.
The good news is you have enough work that could probably get you into a full service agency as a digital/social creative. And once you're in, you can ask to be put on more conceptual assignments.
I'd work on the write ups to make the work seem more conceptual, invent reasons for doing things the way you did it if you have to. Use the Jets work as a template for it, it explains the work and why you did what you did.
Put the work in context, you have a lot of stuff that's just images without any thing that help explaining what they were supposed to communicate.
And lose the decks, nice looking decks are cool. But it's what goes in them that matters.
I’d consider using a piece from each project for your thumbnails. It makes a prettier first impression when people click on your site. And, I’d be much more interested in clicking on that snowman gif for example than just the Starbucks logo.
Hey Anthony, nice looking book!
Things I'd lose:
LeAnn tees
Deck design
Things I'd try to build upon:
Quaker - nice brand, bad tv, meh social; consider coming up with clever insightful print ads and ooh. Think up some ambient. Put social into layout.
Human Rights Campaign - nice visual, clever, should be a campaign. Think of how to blow this up!
NYJets - either make it a campaign (the one you'd like to see it your book) or lose it.
Beauty Brands - same here. Nice photography but I'm not sure what the idea is. Either turn it into a campaign or move it all the way down.
E-campus - not the greatest tv, but tv nonetheless. It's also the only campaigny thing you currently have. Not sure why you start with an infographic, I'd lead with tv and then go into explorations. Maybe infographic could be a social post at the very end.
P.Volve - this feels very generic as it is right now. I'd either ad some clever print ads/stunts or lose it entirely.
Ferrero - great client. Explore it.
Ritz - same as above. It's already pretty extended, but do you really like all those ads? If it was your way, what world you do here?
About section seems like an odd place for more work.
Hope this was somewhat helpful. Good luck!
Thank you both for giving such thorough reviews. I’m very grateful you took the time, and I appreciate the feedback. Will make some edits soon :)
