Need some guidance regarding PIP process

I wanted to understand:

Can employees successfully come out of a PIP?
If the outcome is not positive, is there usually a notice period provided?
In case someone resigns during PIP, does the normal notice period still apply?

Yes, if someone works well, PIP can be successful (atleast in my previous company).
And as per the policy, even if someone resigns during PIP, then there is no notice period and last day will still be last day of PIP.

People have cleared the pip here also. I have people in my team. You just need to work hard.

You have to decide first - whether you want to clear pip or use the time to find a job ? Also understand why pip was issued and what is expectations in pip. If you do good then you get good in return, if you do bad then bad returns.
