Networking! Such a valuable asset! I know teachers who never branch out to new opportunities. Other teachers are a great source of information and they have connections that are brilliant. This week, I have met so many teachers and created an entire new network. I love the opportunity to get information, find out about new resources, and make new friends. What is your favorite thing about meeting new teachers and creating a new network? Do you network outside of your normal connections?

What do I do if I’ve only worked one job (the one I’m currently at) and another company is asking for references? I could do professors from college but not sure if that’s a good idea. I wish I could give my current manager’s contact but I don’t want her knowing :/

Can someone tell how to prepare for interviews?
What type of questions will be ask regarding projects?

I’m currently a Risk Analyst and a full time MBA student. I don’t have any experience working on the investment side of the bank but I would really like to pivot into an investment analyst role. MM shop, inv team role, I did a final round last week (my XXth IV so far) with one of the GPs. I honestly thought it went great. Haven’t heard a thing since though. Recruiter thinks I’m still in it cause of Christmas-Hol.
