My confession is I have always had very competetive and hardworking close friends around me with whom I felt amazing to compete, do more and be the best. A few years back we all made to different countries, now I achieve far less than my potential and find it hard to be as efficient as before. How to fix this?

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I know I can’t control her but would like to express my feelings without sending her into a spiral. For context, I’ve been in therapy for 12 months and medicated

Hi guys, have you ever cried in a workplace. How does it feel if no one helps you when u ask something and they don’t respond at all if u are even asking doubts to them. Everyday I m crying coz of the culture since it’s a full time work from home we will have to call people in teams for helps and doubts and every time no one respond us and they make us think that we are unfit for this job and I cry at work everyday.. does this mean r they asking me to leave the job indirectly!!!

I just wanted to reach out and let you all know I understand how tired and beat down we all feel at this point in the year. I’m feeling it too. I also know exactly how students can try us. What I’m working on every day though is to see my kids as God does… not the kids that know how to push buttons and drive me crazy, but as the beautiful lives they are, all deserving of the best we can give them every day. I’m mid 30s F. Recently started seeing this guy, where he is “good enough”. Good conversations, decent time together, he has a good heart, but nothing about him shines. - not fit (I work out everyday and play sports), meh social skills (he doesn’t have best friends, just few he hangs out with), bit less energy than me.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
