Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

So my ultimate goal is to be in deals advisory/TAS team. I spent about 9 months in risk assurance at PwC. I requested to transfer into their core line, but it didn’t work out so I’m now accepting a role at EY within their FSO assurance team to get that GAAP|financial statement experience. Went to a club yesterday and we paid $20 pp for cover just to find out that it was empty and there wasn't really a clubbing vibe. Bought a round of beers and we were so bored that we decided to leave in a few minutes... I feel robbed but at the same time I guess there's not much I can do, or is it?
