Ok. So after a lot of back and forth, I have an offer from Microsoft . But the Level in the offer is Level 62. As much as I remember, I interviewed for Level 63 Lead solution architect role. They have already made it clear they can't match my salary (infact they are offering me 25% less than my existing) and now they say the Level for this role has always been 62. I don't think it's worth accepting it. I have 15 years experience. Any thoughts? Is it ok to accept at level 62?
If it's the UK 62 is a decent level, but why would you want to take a pay cut unless you like Microsoft that much.

I ended up not accepting the offer. It was low on salary and level for me.

Yeah 61 and 62 are not senior levels and also explains why they couldn’t match your salary. I personally wouldn’t take a paycut or a demotion (since it says you’re a principal now) but I don’t know your situation…if your current job is really toxic or there are other problems it could still be a good idea to take the offer and keep interviewing.
My current job is fine. I am just thinking if I should let go of the opportunity to join Microsoft. But taking a pay cut as well as a level cut makes the offer totally unattractive for me to leave my current job. I want to put my foot down that I will not join unless I get a level 63.
Anyone who can comment on the levels at Microsoft? I have looked at Levels.FYI and from that it appears that level 61 and level 62 are Solution Architect and level 63 (the one I was expecting to be given) and level 64 are senior levels.
Different countries have different levels. I was a 62 in Canada which is a 64 in the US. Just make sure the data you’re looking at reflects the country you’re in.
