I think I'm at a solid 8 at this point. I'm pretty sure that AI is going to completely take over the data industry. It's only a matter of time
10. They have been forcing me to implement AI tools to take over some of my current tasks. In most cases, they do a pretty bad job, but management doesn't care. They would rather a decline in quality than having to, ya know, pay a human being. It's weird knowing I am helping to integrate my own replacement.
I’m honestly at a 2. I work in research, and I see AI as a tool that helps me do deeper, faster analysis, not replace me. Once, using AI shaved days off a lit review, and I still had to interpret it all. What part of your work do you think AI can’t touch?
That's a great question. I think most of my job requires human judgment, so I think it's relatively safe. But I'd say my job would be at about a six, as some of it might possibly be hijacked by AI. But that's unless I'm just missing how profound a threat it might be.
1-2. R and D trial management. The level of advancement AI would have to make in serious practical problem solving, legislation, and regulatory authority approval such that it would drop below the low risk tolerance of big pharma is not coming in the immediately future.
One. I'm not worried. Artificial intelligence is a glorified search engine and I don't honestly think it's going to be taking anyone's job anytime soon.
