How many hours in one day puts you over the edge of not being able to be productive anymore?

I’m much better in the morning. So I reserve that time for strategy, paperwork, and outbound client/prospect calls. Then after lunch, typically I have two face to face reviews. Then after 4:30ish, return any calls and then plan for the next day before I walk out the door. From 8-6 without a lunch...that’s 10 hours (if I brownbag lunch at the office). I work Monday through Thursday so I’m motivated to try and be productive most of that time and not waste it. But that’s after 12 years in the business

I do 18 hours Monday. 16 Tuesday. 14 12 10 etc and 6 on Saturday. But I do allow one Friday off a month.

funny

3. Anything past 1:00 and I’m worthless

FA1 is that true ? Do you plan around this ?

No I’m being sarcastic. I’m in the office about 7 hours a day, give or take.

Oh okay lol. I thought you were at first but then I thought if you were serious I need to know what you’re doing.

I typically work 10 hours, but I can be productive for 12-14

I am honestly horrible at structure. I’m all over the place. Usually I try to make my commissions in the morning, I find that easiest after getting in, running the reports to see who’s out of balance in my transaction accounts. Then the rest of the day is either appointments, and taking phone calls, and if I didn’t make what I wanted in the morning, I do some more outbound. Also I spend way too much time bullshitting with my assistant.

I've worked 18 hours and been productive all the way through one day, and had a hard time past 6 or 7 another. It depends on what i'm doing.

By 7pm I'm popped

Salaries have really been spiking. I am curious what the salary for a Principal/ Junior Partners would be in a mid-sized accounting firm now. In January I was approached for $200K for a senior manager role. Now a head hunter has approached me with $225K.

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
