One thing I miss about working in retail is the employee discounts, especially during the holidays. Getting snacks and treats for less always felt great. We didn’t get much compensation, but those discounts made up for it a bit. I even used to buy things for my friends so they could enjoy the savings too.

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment.
