So yesterday I woke up with an awful migraine; probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. Has anyone had success reducing or getting off stimulants? I been on vyvanse for 10 years and now at a pretty high dose (60mg). I feel fine when I take 60mg but my concern is if I don’t take that much I feel barely functional and I don’t want to go any higher in future years. Sharing my story: I carry an abnormal gene in which me and my wife's first child was affected. We decided with our second child to use IVF. We started our journey in January 2021 and my wife went through 4 IVF cycles using my sperm in a 9 month span (her choice). We decided after the 4th round failed to go a different route and use sperm donation to rid us of the gene. During 2022, she went through 4 rounds of IUI and finally got one that stuck. She is now 14 weeks pregnant and due in April 😊

Had my first egg retrieval a few weeks ago. Still trying to comprehend what happened. All my ultrasounds and blood work came back perfect. In the end, I had 30 follicles and they were only able to retrieve 3 eggs. Our embryologist said my egg quality was very poor and one had been dead for a long time. None of my tests ever indicated any issues. I have tested my egg reserve twice and everything came back normal. Any thoughts/advice? I’m really at a loss for words.

I am 34.5 and have been TTC for 1.5 years. Failed one cycle of timed intercourse and one natural cycle IUI. At this point, considering IVF- there were no major issues when got tested by RE. Had a microadenoma and have been on medication since. Husband’s count and motility came back normal but morphology was a bit low. RE said low morphology does not matter much.
