Any Boston networking events coming up soon?
Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

It’s physical, mental, and emotional all rolled into one, and the hours can be relentless. I’m proud of the work I do here, but honestly, I also feel my compensation doesn’t match the responsibility level, especially when you factor in the stress and time away from personal life. I'm having a conversation with my director about this soon! Hopefully you can too.
Yes and no. For the area, I do make a good salary. For the responsibility and work that comes with the role? I’m not so sure. I am proud of where I started and how I moved up, though. No degree, and I'm doing alright, honestly.
That is awesome to hear. I started as a front desk clerk moved up to front office manager and assistant general manager before becoming disabled. Now I can’t even find a job as a front desk supervisor. They told me I’m not qualified now that I’m disabled. So if you hear of anything, I would love to find out about it. I was also the sales manager for five years before becoming disabled.
I am only a front desk agent, yet I have done more for the employees on holidays and if I knew of a special thing, I would do something for them. For all that I did at my previous hotel, I was never compensated. In my 5 years I spent on gifts for the employees and making them special foods for mothers day, father's day and Thanksgiving ( I made a bourbon pumpkin cheesecake). Now I am looking for a job.

Totally get where you’re coming from. Managing a hotel takes so much time and energy, and it often feels like the pay doesn’t match the effort. I’ve had days where I put in so much and still feel undercompensated. Curious to hear what others think too!
