Over a year ago, I was absolutely desperate for a job and accepted a clinical research specialist job at a research site after being an RA for a bit. Now looking for coordinator roles or other steps forward, but it feels like I shot myself in the foot in terms of career development. The job market isn't great, but CRCs are generally entry level and I'm below that, despite being ACRP certified. Any advice on how to progress in my career? I feel like all mh applications are auto declined

Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. What is the correct path to obtain entry level positions in clinical research. My background is in health sciences and work experience has been 3 years as a clinical lab scientist.
