What is a good salary for a director in NY?
What jobs are currently paying 85k?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I think people are missing the boat when they think companies should worry about being fair versus being profitable. It would be nice if they would but they won’t ,so I just think you plan on going when they’re not.

But one could argue that treating employees “more” fairly would gain them more profits. But I can see your point.
It’ll come down to us deciding where we want to give our time in exchange for that pay. That will be the only thing companies look at in the future. Right now, it is an employer's market.

True. It is harder to get a job.
The truth is , most employees need to strike. Companies are literally abusing their power at this point. But considering most coporate employees are not apart of a union and desparately need stable income, I doubt anyone will truly strike.
