In the Jacksonville area. Curious about opportunities out there for accounting consulting work. I truly have a passion for helping companies make their accounting departments more efficient, helping them focus their resources on the things that matter. My firm does some of this now, but I would love to grow that practice here. Is this something you all recommend to your clients? I am debating getting back into phlebotomy/lab assistant/sample processor. The last company I worked for was Lapcorp (Seattle,WA) in 2018 & made 17.35 an hour. I have 9 years in both inpatient & outpatient. In that time I gained lots of experience in blood draws (from new borns to drug users), sample processing, ordering, legal blood draws/breath tests, and more. I felt I was being underpaid then & wonder what the average wage is now? Or suggestions on what to ask for?

What's the scene with getting contract converted?

I was a top performer in RA and then I was referred to RP by my manager based on my performance.

Now I've had a manager change in last month.
He doesn't know much, and hasn't taken my feedback from previous managers.

I've less than 1 month remaining in my contract... I am really worried, he keeps delaying it.

Starting my counseling career on Tuesday and I’m scared to fail. What if I say something stupid and hurt my clients and make it worse? This is a second career for me so is hard to be older and a novice. I know it’s not about me and that I will truly care so I keep reminding myself of that.
