Overemployed newbie here. Do folks only work at jobs that are in separate industries? If there’s a stipulation in the agreement that says you can’t work two jobs, is that something I just disregard? Am I being an unethical idiot here?

This company has a toxic environment. Sexual harassment, discrimination and workplace bullying, not just among associates but higher management. If you wanna work somewhere that people constantly call each other names and prey on you, this is the ideal workplace.

To those at V25 firms, how do you view your London office in terms of the quality of work we get and overall importance to the firm? Like is there a perception of us being a step down or ancillary to the big leagues of NYC or not? There’s generally a perception here that L&W and K&E are the only US firms where London can even begin to compete with stateside in terms of generating l work organically but would be interesting to know what you all think? The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?
