What technical skill sets should I learn to go OE at over $100k for each? Follow up: how do I learn it and how long will it take?

I see a lot of Jr. Level folks (myself included) in this bowl asking about certain finance exit opps like MM IB and PE etc.

At some point is the comp that much better?

From Big4 Transparency: S1/MCOL/2YOE/FDD making $97k. Managers MCOL close to $150k.

very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?

Hello fellow fishes, currently I am working as an Information Security Consultant and wanted to switch my career into Cloud Security.

I have around 6+ years of experience in Information Security which includes ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2 and PCI DSS.

I work in field sales as an IC. My aspirational career path is to end up in people leadership. Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening. Maybe they’re happening and I just don’t have a role in that oversight but the motivation to keep going is whittling down to nothing. LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! You can’t be who you truly are on that app. Which is why I like fishbowl so much, the anonymity is a game changer. If LinkedIn was a anonymous, we’d see a lot more support for Kanye and a lot less LGBQT material. Bet!

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?

Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs.
