Is it common to need to do a mock case presentation for an entry level/early career interview?

I have 3 years of Experience working as a fullstack developer using .NET Core, Angular, React, and Postgres.

I have also done certifications in Machine learning using Python and Tensorflow, but I am unable to land an interview with Microsoft, even if my profile matches the job description.

Any nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

Anyone who has been through both rounds at MBB - does case difficulty get any harder between round 1 and 2? Or is it just the level of interviewer?

I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. It’s been a little over a year and I’ve come to the realization that it’s not for me. Received an offer from a similar practice at another Big 4, including promo. Who do I speak to at EY to see if they’ll match salary/bonus and some promise of making agile promo? Counselor? CCL Partner? HR? Head of my (small) practice? Partner I work with most closely?

When picking up a J2, how much should you include about J1 on a background check?

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?
