If you can find a part-time position, I would definitely encourage it. And if you can handle it financially. When my kids were little, I worked 28 hours a week instead of 40+ and it really helped. When they got older and they were in school, I increased my hours. It was a little bit tough financially, but we made it work.

It’s going to come down to what you can afford. Cutting back on your hours would relieve stress assuming you can afford it. If you won’t be bringing enough money to pay your bills, you’ll have more stress.
